Guji Lorenzana is one of Star Magic's fastest rising stars. This multi-award-nominated singer, actor, theater actor, commercial model, and radio DJ, got his first break on ABS-CBN, being casted as Rei on popular afternoon soap, Precious Hearts Romances Presents, The Bud Brothers. Now, Guji frequents ABS-CBN programing such as ASAP XV, Wowowee, as well acting stints on MMK, Your Song, amongst others.
Guji grew up in Fremont, California, singing with several bands and vocal groups. After recordning a solo album in 2006, Guji migrated to the Philippines to pursue music. After 2 indie album attempts (one including an Awit Award nominated song for best male performance), Guji found his way into Star Magic's Batch 16, where he was then launched as a "singer" on ASAP 08. Singing on ASAP spawned vocal group, Voizboys, which will release their debut album in May 2010.
Guji still promotes his previously released music, performing live with his band at bars and night spots within Metro Manila.
Now, Guji juggles his time between filming movies, TV soap shoots, TV guestings, singing gigs, tours, DJing for popular top 40 station, Mellow 94.7fm, as well as acting and singing in professional theater plays.
